Sunderland CCG, Sunderland Carers Centre and Sunderland City Council have been working with a group of carers across the city to develop a new support service using Florence Simple telehealth.
The service will be available to carers across the city and involves motivational messages and captures how carers are feeling. A low mood generates an alert to the council’s contact centre who will be able to provide support, advice and guidance to those carers struggling with their caring responsibilities.
The service is due to go live in October and the carers centre will be able to add carers to this new service.
