Sunderland’s highly successful Career Start scheme began in August 2015 and has so far attracted 15 new GPs to the city.
In continued support of the scheme, the Alliance attended the Deanery career event at Northumbria Coach Lane Campus on Wednesday 31st May, with the aim of promoting the scheme to potential new recruits.
Several of our Board member GP’s and also GP representatives who have come through the Career Start scheme themselves, were on hand to speak to delegates and promote a GP Career in Sunderland.
