Since early January we have been working hard with the current locality providers to deliver the new NHS England requirements for Extended GP Access.
The Sunderland Extended Access Service (SEAS) will be operational across the city in September to deliver planned and on the day general practice care as a support to the current GP model. Following the communication to the practices about the data sharing requirements which need to be in place to support this we plan to start a programme of individual practice visits to talk through the service, data sharing and answer any questions you may have. In the meantime if you have questions the core team working on extended access are Tracey Teasdale, Tracy Pitcher and Chrissie Todd.
